Samsung unveiled its newest flagship phones, the Samsung  S24 galaxy series, back in January. Alongside, they’re gearing up to unveil their next-gen foldable devices, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, at a Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for July. Now, reports suggest that Samsung is also busy developing a Fan Edition smartphone to join the Galaxy S24 lineup.

The rumored Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is set to follow in the footsteps of last year’s Galaxy S23 FE. Some sneak peeks and details about this upcoming high-end smartphone have already surfaced online.

Curious about what to expect from the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE? A tipster named OreXda recently shared some specifications about this rumored smartphone on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter).

According to the post, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE might come with a 6.1-inch AMOLED display. Additionally, the tipster mentioned that Samsung could provide the smartphone with two different chipsets – the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400 – depending on the market.

The phone is expected to have 12GB of RAM and may come in two storage options: 128GB and 256GB. Additionally, it’s likely to have a 4,500mAh battery. In comparison, the regular Galaxy S24 model, which was recently released, has a 4,000mAh battery.

Additionally, the FE version is expected to share many similarities with the Galaxy S24 model launched earlier this year. However, as FE variants are typically slightly less advanced versions of the flagship phone, Samsung might make some compromises in certain aspects.
The insider didn’t spill all the details but hinted that Samsung plans to keep the existing $200 price gap between the standard and FE models. Expect the Galaxy S24 FE to feature less powerful cameras and potentially be less robust compared to the regular Galaxy S24 smartphone.
