Review of Madgaon Express: A Hilarious Comedy Full of Bromance

Madgaon Express Review: Divyenndu shines as Dodo, a talkative guy with many secrets, adding energy to the story as things get chaotic.

The movie could easily be called Madcap Express. Kunal Kemmu’s first directorial venture, Madgaon Express, is a crazy comedy that never slows down. It’s hilariously entertaining as it switches smoothly between slapstick humor and clever wit.

Madgaon Express

Coming from a movie world full of serious films and cynicism, this comedy, written by the director, mixes the vibes of Go Goa Gone and Dil Chahta Hai while also being unique.

Madgaon Express, made by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment, shares similarities with their movie Dil Chahta Hai. It aims to make us laugh away our troubles, which might just be what we need during these challenging times.

Madgaon Express :-The movie is about three friends from Bombay in the 1990s. They want to go to Goa for a vacation, attracted by the idea of beaches, bikinis, and alcohol. However, their parents prevent them from going, and their dream remains unfulfilled.

After finishing college, in their early twenties, they choose to disobey their families and take a risk. However, their excitement leads to negative consequences, and their plans for the Goa trip are canceled once more.
After the early 2000s, the three friends – the fibber Dhanush “Dodo” (Divyenndu), the tough Ayush Gupta (Avinash Tiwary), and the momma’s boy Pratik “Pinku” Garodia (Pratik Gandhi) – go their separate paths. Ayush moves to New York City, and Pinku goes to Cape Town. Both of them become successful and earn money.
Dodo remains stuck in his modest Mumbai home with his father, who is fed up with his irresponsible behavior. Dodo dreams of achieving something significant one day. Lost in the world of social media, Dodo gets a wake-up call from his dad. He is given an ultimatum: find a job within a week or face the prospect of homelessness.
Dodo’s carefully edited online life, filled with adventures and famous encounters on “Crazebook,” is at risk of falling apart. Just when things look bleak, his two old friends reach out to him and reveal their idea to visit Mumbai and stay with him in his apartment for a few days.
Here’s the catch: Despite boasting about his lavish lifestyle and showing off a fancy car on social media, the luxurious apartment he boasts about owning is simply a product of his imagination.
