Ola Electric said it had more than 53,000 registrations in March, according to the VAHAN Portal. This marks its highest monthly sales for the fifth month in a row. In the financial year 2024, it had a 115% increase compared to the previous year, with 328,785 units registered, up from 152,741 units in the financial year 2023.

The company kept its market share steady for the month with a 42% increase compared to the previous quarter. In the last quarter of the financial year 2024, they registered 119,310 units, up from 84,133 units in the quarter before.
Anshul Khandelwal, Chief Marketing Officer at Ola Electric Technologies, said: “Ending FY24 with over 53,000 registrations in March is a great way to wrap up the year for us. It’s been a big year for us and the EV industry, and we’ve been the top seller throughout the financial year, with steady growth in sales and market share.”
He also said, “The fact that we had almost 120,000 registrations in just the fourth quarter of FY24 shows how good our scooter range is. We want to keep growing and help India move more towards electric vehicles.”
Ola Electric just announced a bunch of new things like products, services, charging stations, and battery warranty. They added a new product called S1 X (4kWh), making their lineup have six products including S1 Pro, S1 Air, S1 X+, S1 X – 2 kWh, 3kWh, and 4kWh. These cover different prices and suit people who need different ranges.
Ola Electric also introduced an extended battery warranty of 8 years or 80,000 kilometers for all their products without any extra charge. This, they believe, helps people use electric vehicles more by making them last longer. Customers can also choose to pay a bit more for an add-on warranty to increase the limit to 125,000 kilometers, starting at a price of INR 4,999.
Ola Electric also made a portable fast charger that gives 3KW, and it’s for sale at INR 29,999. On March 19, they opened their 450th service center in Prayagraj, to make their service network bigger all over the country.
