Arvind kejriwal’s arrest:- AAP leader Gopal Rai announced that a nationwide collective fast will be held to get as much support as possible from the public for Arvind Kejriwal’s fight.

Arvind kejriwal’s arrest:-Today, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will fast all day to show they’re against the arrest of their leader, Arvind Kejriwal. Gopal Rai, a senior AAP leader, said on Saturday that supporters will gather at Jantar Mantar in Delhi and Khatkar Kalan in Punjab, the birthplace of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, for a mass fast.
Arvind kejriwal’s arrest:- “At the same time, supporters in 25 states in India and important cities like New York, Boston, Toronto, Washington DC, Melbourne, and London will show their support for Kejriwal by fasting together,” Rai announced during a press conference.
Rai asked people who disagree with Kejriwal’s arrest and want to protect the country’s democracy to join group fasts at different places like homes, villages, neighborhoods, block headquarters, districts, and state capitals. He also suggested that people collectively pray or listen to the devotional song “Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram” on YouTube to show their support for Kejriwal.
Arvind kejriwal’s arrest:- “We can sing it together. Let’s pray for Kejriwal to stay strong and fight against unfair treatment while he’s in jail. We can work together to uncover the truth,” he said.
People fasting to show they’re against Kejriwal’s arrest are requested to send their pictures to the website kejriwalkoaashirvaad.com.
Last month, Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate for a money laundering case related to the old excise policy. He’s been put in jail until April 15, along with his former cabinet ministers Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain, in Tihar jail.
At the same time, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been asking for Kejriwal to step down as Delhi’s chief minister. Additionally, the Enforcement Directorate objected to Kejriwal’s request in court for extra time with his lawyer, saying he can’t get special treatment just because he wants to govern from jail.
Arvind kejriwal’s arrest:- “When someone is in jail, their status outside doesn’t matter, and they’re treated like everyone else. They’ve already been permitted two visits a week. Being in judicial custody means your contact with the outside world is restricted, as per the law,” he explained.
“The lawyer representing the Enforcement Directorate told the judge that just because someone decides to govern from prison doesn’t mean they should get special treatment or privileges,” he said.
