Derek O’Brien remark:- Earlier this month, the TMC revealed the names of its candidates for all 42 Lok Sabha seats in West Bengal, rejecting the Congress’s suggestion to form an alliance.

MP Derek O’Brien remark on Sunday that the Trinamool Congress is still part of the Opposition’s INDIA bloc, despite rumors of disagreements within the alliance. The Mamata Banerjee-led party also announced its list of candidates for all 42 Lok Sabha constituencies in West Bengal.

Derek O’Brien remark:– The party replaced five of its current Lok Sabha members. Mamata Banerjee, who is the chief minister of West Bengal and the party leader, chose several new candidates. One of them is former cricketer Yusuf Pathan, who will run for the Baharampur constituency. This seat has been held by Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, the state Congress chief and a five-time parliament member, since 1999.
Derek O’Brien remark:- At Sunday’s rally, Derek O’Brien criticized the BJP government led by Narendra Modi. He said that the promises made by the prime minister have no guarantee.
