The severe lack of food in Gaza means that many people are at risk of dying in large numbers soon………

In some areas of the Gaza Strip, there’s a severe shortage of food that’s worse than famine. Without a quick ceasefire and sending more food to the areas affected by fighting, many people could die soon. This was warned by the global hunger monitor on Monday.

The Integrated Food-Security Phase Classification (IPC), whose evaluations are trusted by U.N. organizations, stated that 70% of people in certain areas of northern Gaza are experiencing the most extreme level of food shortage. This is more than three times the 20% limit needed to be labeled as famine.

Food crisis in Gaza:-The IPC mentioned that they didn’t have sufficient information about death rates, but they predicted that people in the area would soon be dying at a scale similar to famine. This means that two out of every 10,000 people would die each day due to starvation, malnutrition, or disease.
