IPL 2024:– On Saturday, Jos Buttler made a great comeback by scoring a fantastic century, helping Rajasthan Royals beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 6 wickets.
Buttler’s century was better than Kohli’s from the first innings, and the Royals easily chased the 184-run target. This win suggests tougher times ahead for RCB in the tournament.
Virat Kohli scored an excellent century for Royal Challengers Bangalore, helping them reach a tough score of 183/3 in 20 overs.
Kohli’s unbeaten 113 runs came on a difficult pitch, making him the first player to achieve a century this season. He was the main performer in batting, with only Faf du Plessis making a significant contribution of 44 runs.

In 15 IPL matches, Kohli has scored 87 runs off 67 balls from Sandeep and has been dismissed seven times. Sandeep has dismissed Kohli more times than any other bowler, with Ashish Nehra coming in second with six dismissals. RCB captain Faf du Plessis urged his team to improve their batting performance, saying, “We need two players to stay on the pitch and build a partnership, which we haven’t been able to do. We need strong players in the dressing room to step up.”
